Standard specifications for fabrics:
- All fabrics will meet current flame retardant requirements, including NFPA 701, either by the immersion method or be inherently-flame-proofed fabric.
- Flame certificates will be provided for all projects.
- Each individual curtain will have flame-proof labels attached.
- All draperies will have 50% added fullness sewn in, using box pleating on 12" centers.
- The tops will be sewn to 3" heavy jute webbing.
- No. 3 brass grommets will be installed in each pleat. Appropriate tie-line or S-hook will be provided.
- Valance and borders will have 2" side and bottom hems.
- Front curtain and travelers will have 4" bottom hems with No.8 plated chain sewn in a separate canvas pocket.
- Front curtain has 12" center hem, 2" side hem
- Traveler curtains have 4" center hem, 2" side hem
- Color selection to be made from standard color cards or special dyeing available upon request
