Greenville Stage is a proud distributor for J.R. Clancey's patented Fire Safety Curtains. Fire safety curtains provide a barrier between the stage and auditorium in the event of fire. The barrier prevents the heat, smoke and flame from a fire on stage from affecting the audience while the auditorium is evacuated. Self closing fire curtains were developed and patented by J. R. Clancy in 1904.
J. R. Clancy fire curtains are made with ZetexPlus™ fabric. ZetexPlus™ 1210 was specifically developed to meet the Uniform Building Code (UBC) requirements.
